Fees and Charges

All payments between Business Owners and Advisors and GHM can be made using major credit or debit cards. We use the Stripe Connect payment gateway to process all payments. Your card details are held and managed by Stripe Connect throughout the payment process and are encrypted for security purposes.

Membership of GHM is free to both Business Owners and Advisors

Business Owners may post a project, receive bids from Advisors, review Advisors’ profiles and discuss project requirements for free. If a Business Owner and the Advisor agree an Advisory Contract, GHM charges the Business owner an introduction and management fee.

For fixed price projects an introduction and management fee of 5% (five per cent) is levied on all payments made by the Business Owner to the Advisor under the Advisory Contract when those payments are made. If the Business owner subsequently pays the Advisor more than the original amount in the Advisory Contract GHM will charge the introductory and management fee on any overage payments when they are made.

For hourly projects a fee of 5% (five per cent) is levied on each payment the Business Owner makes to the Advisor, except on the initial deposit the Business Owner makes when he/she enters into an Advisory Contract.

Advisors may create a profile, select skills of projects he is interested in, receive project notifications, search for projects and discuss details of projects with Business Owners for free.

For fixed price contracts, GHM charges the Advisor an introduction and handling fee of 10% (ten per cent) on all payments made by the Business Owner to the Advisor under the Advisory Contract. If the Advisor is subsequently paid more than the original amount under the Advisory Contract GHM will charge the introduction and handling fee on any overage payments.

For both fixed price and hourly contracts the introduction and handling fee charged to the Advisor is deducted from each payment made by the Business Owner to the Advisor when it is made.
